Thursday of the Second Week of Lent

Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,
whose hope is the LORD.
He is like a tree planted beside the waters
that stretches out its roots to the stream.

It’s one thing to know that we need to turn to God for refreshment; it’s another thing altogether to know how to go about it.  To use the image from Jeremiah, it’s not always simple to know what streams will nourish us.

What are the places in my life that I turn to for spiritual nourishment?  What are some places that I turn that are less than helpful?
