Originally from Chattanooga, Tenn., Jeff graduated from Vanderbilt University with a bachelor's in English before serving as an officer in the Navy. After entering the Jesuits, he studied at Fordham University and Boston College where he earned a Masters in English and a License in Sacred Theology (STL). He was ordained a priest in 2011.
