Ignatius was born in Vung Tau, Vietnam. He came to New Orleans, Louisiana in 1990. He has bachelor's and masters' degrees in architecture from the University of Louisiana Lafayette. Ignatius is currently studying at the Loyola University of Chicago, pursuing an MA in Social Philosophy and MA in Theological Studies. His ministries include Teacher Assistant at Arrupe College, Graphic Design for the Koble House's newsletters (Prison ministry), Facilitator for the Youth Faith Group, Teaching ESL and Tutor Citizenship for the Vietnamese Association in Chicago, and many more. In addition, he enjoys reading, team sports, musical instruments, and other forms of exercise.
