Fourth Sunday of Lent

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world might be saved through him.
— John 3:17, from today’s Gospel

Condemnation is an all too common response to the difficult situations I face in life. Taking a few moments of silent prayer let me examen my actions over the past few days, where have I acted in a condemning way? Where have I responded to God’s invitation to work for the salvation promised by Christ? What’s one concrete action that I can do in the next few days that will help Christ’s mission of salvation?
