Born and raised in New York City, David Said, S.J. is a Jesuit scholastic in graduate studies of Philosophy and Theology at St. Louis University. David entered the novitiate of the Society of Jesus after earning a B.S. in Health Care Management and Policy from Georgetown University. Some of his interests include cooking, weightlifting, and improving his language skills in Spanish and Maltese.

What a decade for the Jesuits! The 2010s included Sister Jean’s Final Four run, Missy Franklin’s gold medals, new books by James Martin, S.J., the founding of Arrupe College in Chicago, the canonization of Peter Faber, the birth of The Jesuit Post, and (oh yeah!) the election of Pope Francis.
