Tim met the Jesuits while earning a B.A. in political science at the College of the Holy Cross. He entered the Maryland Province in 2008 after a stint as a copy editor for the federal government. Tim studied theology at Centre Sèvres, the Jesuit theology faculty in Paris. He was ordained a priest in 2018. Tim desires God's love and grace, and to win the New Yorker's cartoon caption contest (in that order).
