Pablo was born in Colombia but raised in Miami. A Belen Jesuit Preparatory School grad, he attained a dual degree in psychology and biology at Florida International University and assisted in research in botany and developmental psychobiology. His involvement in campus ministry and later work counseling kids with ADHD and teaching general science at a middle school in Little Havana moves him to reconcile his love of science with his faith and commitment to social justice. He enjoys Colombian and Italian food, playing the piano, and saltwater ecosystems.
