John Guyol, SJ is Jesuit scholastic currently residing in his hometown of St. Louis. After spending time on the East Coast at Villanova University, John headed to Montana to be a part of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps to be a youth and music minister. When he is not spending his days chopping down trees and wrestling bears, you can find him studying music, looking for a volleyball match, or working with the students at Saint Louis University.

What a decade for the Jesuits! The 2010s included Sister Jean’s Final Four run, Missy Franklin’s gold medals, new books by James Martin, S.J., the founding of Arrupe College in Chicago, the canonization of Peter Faber, the birth of The Jesuit Post, and (oh yeah!) the election of Pope Francis. Let’s count down the TOP TEN Jesuit events of the decade.
