Reflecting on the Vietnamese martyrs, Eddie sees a vision of the Church that fulfills the Evangelical promise. May the life of Lê Thị Thành inspire us to be, to do something more.

Raised in Texas, Eddie formerly taught high school chemistry and practiced as a family physician before getting in trouble for listening to God's deepest desires for him. A convert to Roman Catholicism, he entered the Jesuits in 2012, where he studied philosophy in Spanish in Guadalajara and worked at Santa Clara University with immersion trips. Currently serving as a deacon, he is completing theological studies in spirituality until his priestly ordination in June 2022.
