All posts by Matt Ippel, SJ

Hailing from the Motor City, Matt currently finds himself accompanying displaced persons with the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) in Maban, South Sudan for his regency. Prior to entering the Society of Jesus, Matt made the move from Detroit to DC to study international relations at Georgetown University and spent time living in Jordan, El Salvador and Honduras. Witnessing the authentic commitment of the Jesuits during his time in Latin America led Matt to actively pursue a vocation with the Society of Jesus. He enjoys coffee, craft beers and ceviche, especially when in the company of friends.
