What happens after you fail at something you were trusted with?
Bro. Bobby Nichols, SJ crashed his parents’ car and got the keys back. He reflects on how Christ does the same with Peter, and with us.
Christ knew Peter would deny him. He handed him the keys anyway.
Like Peter, we have all wrecked. Yet Christ hugs us and hands us the keys again.
So this week, may we use the keys we have been given not for ourselves, but to open doors for the poor, the broken, and those the world has pushed out.
