Come, Let Us Adore
“Behold the wood of the Cross, on which hung the salvation of the world.”
“Come, let us adore.”
That invocation and response are sung today, three times, as the Cross is venerated in the Good Friday liturgy. And honestly, the best advice I could offer today is that you turn off the computer (yes, even abandoning TJP today), go find a church that’s celebrating Stations of the Cross or the Good Friday Passion liturgy, and join the Church in prayer this day.
But if you are stuck at behind a screen today, or you’re looking for a way to begin praying Good Friday, there are plenty of good online resources, of which we’ve pulled together just a few here:

- Creighton’s online ministries has a version of Stations of the Cross, available in several formats, including an MP3 download
- The good folks at Busted Halo have an Virtual Stations of the Cross with video
- Our friends on the other side of the pond at Pray as You Go (run by the British Jesuits) have another online Stations, with art and music
- Pray as You Go is one of the resources mentioned in yesterday’s “L” Stations of the Cross
