Jack is a Cleveland native and a current resident of Detroit. He is a Theology Teacher and Campus Minister at Loyola High School on the West Side. The pandemic has solidified Jack as an avid biker. He enjoys the perfect blend of physical exertion, spending time outside, and exploring new places. He also loves to sing both with Jesuits and with gospel choirs. In the summertime, he is a student at the Institute for Black Catholic Studies at Xavier University of Louisiana, the only Catholic HBCU.

What a decade for the Jesuits! The 2010s included Sister Jean’s Final Four run, Missy Franklin’s gold medals, new books by James Martin, S.J., the founding of Arrupe College in Chicago, the canonization of Peter Faber, the birth of The Jesuit Post, and (oh yeah!) the election of Pope Francis. Let’s count down the TOP TEN Jesuit events of the decade.
