Ángel was born and raised in the city of Caguas, the "real capital" of Puerto Rico. Drawn to the Society of Jesus by the spirituality of Saint Ignatius, he entered in 2016. Currently he is studying for a M.A. in U.S. History and a graduate minor in Women and Gender Studies at Saint Louis University. He is passionate about Civil Rights history, antiracism, advocacy for free ice cream, and video games.
