Fr. John Kavanaugh, S.J. – teacher and musician, philosopher and priest, sure guide on labrynthine paths – died on November 5th. His brother in the Lord Michael Rozier remembers him.
After admitting he was wrong (wait, what?) Michael Rozier lets us know what he’d most like to hear from the candidates: where they’re willing to compromise.
As a son of two worlds (Catholic & public health) Michael Rozier reconciles his divided heart by arguing that “we will never know what it is possible to achieve unless we believe that people of good will are ultimately on the same team.”
Michael Rozier takes issue with James Carville’s seeming truism: “it’s the economy, stupid,” in his careful consideration of the supreme issue facing America as the 2012 election approaches.
