Ty lives in Evanston, IL where he teaches Economics and Entrepreneurship courses at Loyola Academy. A proud product of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ty is an economist whose journey to the Jesuits from the banking world started by encountering various Jesuits on Twitter. In his free time, you will find Ty on meandering long walks through the city, hiking in a state park, trying out a new recipe, or cheering on FC Cincinnati from wherever he finds himself. As a Jesuit, Ty has studied philosophy at Fordham University in NYC and the ITESO in Mexico, presented workshops on the five love languages, and worked at a migrant shelter in the Mexican desert—all the while sharing God's immense love for us.
