Nick Courtney, SJ was born in New Orleans and met the Jesuits at Loyola University New Orleans, where he also discovered his love of the humanities. After pursuing further studies in philosophy, he finally fulfilled his grandmother’s prediction and entered the Jesuits. He is currently studying medieval history and spirituality at Fordham University in the Bronx. He enjoys bookstores and coffee shops, Saints football, and exercising enough to balance out his love of Southern cuisine.
