Michael has a degree in international health systems from Johns Hopkins University. He taught global health and public health ethics as he served as the founding Director of Undergraduate Education at Saint Louis University School of Public Health. He studied theology at Boston College School of Theology and Ministry. Michael was ordained a priest in 2014.
