Mario has a Masters Degree in American Studies from St. Louis University where he researched the use of media in presidential power projection. Afterward he taught U.S. & World History at Cheverus High School in Portland, Maine, while also teaching Theology. He later studied theology at Boston College School of Theology and Ministry. Mario was ordained a priest in 2014.
