Austin is a Jesuit Scholastic who lives in the Bronx, NY, where he attends Fordham University in the MA in Mental Health Counseling and Spiritual Integration program. Born in Wausau, Wisconsin, Austin received his BA in psychology and philosophy from Saint Mary's University of Winona, Minnesota. During his studies, Austin worked as a researcher and counselor in Brisbane, Australia. After entering the Jesuits, Austin worked as an elementary school counselor, coached high school Track and Field, and taught Advanced Placement psychology. Besides his passion for counseling, Austin loves exploring big cities, reading fantasy novels, and playing board games with family and friends.
