This week in religion: did you know Jesus was married? Nope, us neither, and we still don’t, because a few square inches of fourth-century papyrus aren’t more reliable than the Gospels. But we are willing to have fun thinking about what wedding gifts would work. On a more meaningful note, Matt Spotts — independently of the papyrus announcement — has a parable about the quieter moments of a marriage, and what they might tell us about Jesus.
