Week in Review — May 21-27, 2012

by | May 28, 2012 | Week in Review

This week, Matt Spotts and Matthew Dunch both weighed in on commencement — Spotts from a student perspective, and with an eye on the Ascension, while Dunch, from the faculty seats, told us that the most important parts of the university stay with us. (Yes, we know that a lot of the TJP staff are students and teachers … you can probably predict some of the posts you’ll see shortly after Labor Day, too.)

Sam Sawyer found a use for his computer science degree other than keeping the TJP server running, and explained how the Turing test for artificial intelligence is being used to build dialogue between atheists and believers.

Still slightly in shock that his dad went to bed during Game Six, Chris Schroeder wonders how he can stay awake for the moments of improbable grace that God offers.

And Jeff Sullivan comes through on the promised Top Ten (and more) list of bromance moments in the movies. We’re know you’re thinking it, so we’ll just go ahead and say it: this one’s well worth clicking the share or tweet buttons on.

Or you could let us know what else you want a Top Ten list for from TJP — and who knows, maybe you’ll see it featured here, some future Week in Review.
